Tagum City Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Inc. (TCCCII) opened its first permanent office since its incorporation in Space 7, City Arcade Tagum, Jesus V. Ayala Ave., Apokon, Tagum City on Wednesday, December 7, 2022.
Around 2 PM, a press conference was held to kick off the office's opening to which media outlets from the city and province were invited. The board of trustees there outlined the Chamber's goals and priorities for the coming year, which are to (1) strengthen the management system, (2) step up recruitment efforts, and (3) create private-public partnerships.
Following the presscon was the blessing of the office, officiated by Fr. Noel A. Gastones with Hon. Mayor Rey T. Uy as guest of honor, represented by Councilor Leo Revita. It was also attended by Councilor Rex Aala.
A memorandum of agreement (MOA) signing had transpired on the event between TCCCII, and the Department of Education (DepEd) represented Dr. Josephine L. Fadul, Schools Division Superintendent, and Mr. Anwar A. Maadel, MPA, Division Partnership Focal, after the handover of two (2) units of sewing machine donated to the Technical-Vocational (Tech-Voc) track students of Tagum City.
The official website for the organization, tagumcitychamber.com, was also launched at the beginning of the 11TH General Membership Meeting (GMM) and Christmas Party, which began at around 4 PM.
Further, the party also staged an awarding ceremony where corporate members Perfect Milling Corp., Tweetys Poultry Farm, GC Tech, and Rhean Motor Center Inc. were recognized as Platinum Sponsors. Engr. Aerol B. Conde, Ms. Armie Paredes, and Ms. Jeanne Lao were awarded Top Member Producers, while Vincent A. Arriesgado, MSBA, Charlie Lastimosa, and Admarie D. Marcelo, CPA, MM, President/CEO of NuevaSolTech Co. Inc. were acknowledged as Top Member-Supporters.
The event commenced with the oathtaking of new members, officiated by TCCCII President Engr. Aerol B. Conde.
